Hotel & Travel Information

Conference Location: The Network for a Healthy California, Conference, 2008 will be held on the third floor on the Sacramento Convention Center. The Convention Center is located at 1400 J Street in downtown Sacramento.

Conference Hotel: The conference room block at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento is full. The Residence Inn Sacramento at Capitol Park located at 1501 L. St is now offering special overnight rates to conference participants.

Rooms MUST BE BOOKED BY JANUARY 7, 2008 in order to qualify for the special conference rates.

Conference Room Rates:

$109: Each studio suite contains one king sized bed and a fully equipped kitchen.
Room rates do not include state and local taxes.

Parking: Parking for the Residence Inn Sacramento at Capitol Park is $17/night. If you wish to park in the hotel parking ramp, park in the hotel driveway on arrival and register. You will receive a parking tag and the cost of parking will be added to your hotel bill.

Parking: Parking for the Sheraton Grand Sacramento is in the garage across the street at 900 13th Street. From J St. turn left at 132th St.  On 13th St. turn left into the garage.

Self-parking for registered Sheraton Grand Sacramento hotel guests is $13.00 for 24 hours.  If you park your car first, notify the clerk when you check in at the front desk that you are parked in the garage. The cost of parking can be added to your hotel bill.

Self-parking for non-registered guests is $1.50 per ½ hour (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) up to a maximum of $15.00.  Nighttime parking is  $1.50 per hour (6:00 pm -6:00 am) or $21.00 overnight.

Airport Transportation:

Shuttle Service: There is no courtesy shuttle available to or from the Hyatt Regency Sacramento or Sacramento Convention Center. SuperShuttle is the exclusive provider of on-call van service at Sacramento International Airport. The costs from the airport to downtown are approximately:

Shared Van: $12 for the first person and $12 for each additional person
Private Van: $46 for up to seven people. Reservations are not required (but always a good idea) for the trip from the airport to the hotel unless you need a handicapped accessible van. Pickup areas for passengers are located in the ground transportation area adjacent to baggage claim in Terminal A and at the center island curb in front of Terminal B.

Taxis: You can locate a taxi in the ground transportation area adjacent to the baggage claim area at Terminal A and across from the airport hotel at Terminal B.
